INTERACT 2026: Designing Tomorrow

19 Nov 2026
8:30AM – 1:00PM GMT

We’re excited to announce that INTERACT is back in person on Thursday 19 November 2026, in collaboration with Acquia and Wingify.

INTERACT 2026: DESIGNING TOMORROW

We’ll explore what it takes to build brands, products and services for the next era of digital. Technology is changing quickly, from AI reshaping how people discover brands and make decisions, to new ways of building products and understanding what customers need.

But as the tools and possibilities evolve, the focus remains the same: creating experiences that are useful, relevant and meaningful for the people who use them.

Since 2017, INTERACT has brought together people working across UX, research, design, technology, strategy and leadership to share ideas, challenge thinking and learn from one another.

More than 5,000 people have attended previous events, with organisations including Sony Pictures, HSBC, Verizon and Monzo represented among our speakers and community.

This year, we’re bringing that community together again for an afternoon of ideas, insight and conversation about where digital is heading and what it means for the people designing and experiencing it.

The line up, so far:

Chris Richards

The Last 10%
Chris Richards | Creative Director, GAIN

Chris works with AI workflows and agents every day. He’ll show where AI genuinely earns its place, and how to gain efficiency without losing the last 10%: the human, emotional craft people actually connect with. Pure automation gets you to market faster, but what does that speed cost you?

One phrase to remember: the Scorpion King effect.

Jennifer Griffin Smith

Drop the “ING”: Why the future of marketing is about the market, not the machine
Jennifer Griffin Smith | Chief Market Officer, Acquia

AI is getting very good at the “ing” of marketing: producing, publishing, optimising. What it can’t do is understand your market, and that’s now the job. Jennifer looks at how audiences discover brands today (they ask AI, scroll social and skip the ad), and why AI doesn’t fix bad content but amplifies it. She’ll make the case for a new way of working, built on back-to-basics content strategy, a real partnership between marketing and IT, and one shared measure of success.

Backed by new research from 500 CMOs and CIOs.

We’ll announce the full programme and speaker lineup as details are confirmed. For now, save the date.
